We believe every man, woman and child regardless of age, ethnic background or color needs to be touched by the gospel.  We desire to raise up a body of children who are confident in who they are in Christ and who have a knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.  We along with the parents, strive to build a firm foundation for the children on which they can begin to build their walk of faith.  But let’s get real, children do not want to sit still for two hours in a dull room with nothing to do but listen.  In fact, they won’t sit still for two hours.  They’re children!  So we have designed our rooms and our teaching style around them.  Not only will they hear the Word of God but they will also be having fun, doing what children do.  Trust us, your kids will love it.  Although there is much fun to be had there is still structure in our classes.  Our teachers know how to relate to children and teach on a level that they can understand.  Our Children’s Pastors, teachers, assistants and helpers are not babysitters.  They are ministers.  They impart the Word of God to the children they teach and impact the lives of the future leaders of this world and their families.  They take their duties very seriously and they are highly esteemed in our church. 

Nursery/Toddler Ministry
At Eastgate, we love babies!  Parents can be assured that their child is safe and that loving care will be provided for their special bundles of joy.  Nursery/Toddler care is available in all services except Monday night prayer.  For ages 0 to 36 months.

Wee Kids
No longer babies but still not quite considered “a big kid,” Wee Kids is designed for that sometimes hard transition from the care free play atmosphere of the Nursery/Toddler room to a bit more structured class setting.  Wee Kids is available in the Sunday morning service only.  For ages 3 to 5 years.

N2 Kids (Grades K-1st)
This fun and colorful room is designed for the typical Pre-Schooler.  Our well trained and equipped volunteers will provide an exciting service every time the children meet.  For ages 5 to 6 years.  N2 Kids is available in the Sunday Morning service only. 

N2 Kids (Grades 2-5th)
This N2 Kids class is designed for ages 6 to 11.  The purpose of N2 Kids is to teach boys and girls how to involve themselves in a regular worship service.  You’ll discover that our N2 Kids services parallel our adult services in many ways from praise and worship to ushers, from altar calls to greeters.  We also feature puppets, object lessons and tons of fun.  Our N2 Kids class is led by a group of dedicated adults who not only know how to lead by example but also know how to have a good time.  Available in the Sunday Morning service only
